Buying Long Term: to protect long term stock profits now that we have covered the full gap after the earnings there is risk. So if you wish to protect you can buy a April 50 45 pDS at .75 area plus a 50 45 40 pB at .38 .The butterfly can years 1800% profit and the debit 566% profit creating a great deal of protection but bear in mind this is 2 months out and very light trading on these options.
