This dose not mean we are not market and TSLA bearish short term but with news of production beginning on Tesla Semi, the implications are much wider.
If it’s true that they’re pushing out those Tesla Semi trucks, that means that the new battery tech must be ramping up as well. Tesla Semi is not possible without 4680 batteries.
That would also mean that the battery production cost is starting to fall since in theory 4680 can be made at a fraction of the price of other batteries due to this new production process.
Cheaper batteries and at higher scale and not only that, these are million mile batteries that last just about forever with better energy density and the higher power output and input meaning faster charging without heating the cells up.
All of this leads to the next level of battery technology now being rolled out at high numbers since the semi needs high numbers of batteries, so in closing hugely positive news if its true that there ramping up production of Tesla semi finally after being introduced back in 2017, 5 years ago.
Exiting to think that 5 years from now we will have humanoid robots produced at mass scale to replace human labor.
