/b covering short AJLBE at .45 AAPL 250 feb calls [BUYING TO CLOSE] . taking a little less than 40% profit. AAPL has her Es tonight and even though is likely that AAPL sees options depreciation after Es even if the stock gains, I rather lock in profits on this short. In 2 days we have the most important event for AAPL since 2007 so a options short becalmed very risky and it did its job as first a hedge and latter on as a profit driver as we went more bearish. This was a 2X oversized stake short, am still holding 1X oversized money allocation long on these same calls and wish to hold them trough the Es. Am also locking 1/2 profits on the PALM puts at 100% gain, with that the tech exposure is minimized yes still playing both sides with 2 options LONG into Es and 1 PALM puts bearish into AAPL Es and with profit locked in to remove initial investment risk. Ok that was a mouth full , strategy working $-).
