Buying Long Term: Mid term protection strategy . After the comments from Elon Musk where he still said that being short is bad but its not as crazy as it was before, we do not want to exit our long term stock so were creating protective positions.
The first is a type of cheaper strangle but instead of only longs 2 spreads one is calls one is puts.
150 pDS about 1.40 spread
180 cDS about 1.20 spread
What this cheaper strangle dose is make sure that any real movement up or down pays for the opposite play plus gives a profits rethought limited.
and a 135 pDS about .70 spread
This one makes money on a stronger move down and with much higher max profit .
